ENHANCING THE LIVES OF OLDER ADULTS IN THE TRIAD

The Mission of Senior Resources of Guilford is to serve our diverse community of older adults and their families by advocating and providing supportive services that enhance the independence, health and quality of life for older adults.

The agency is a United Way Community Partner affiliated with the United Way of Greater Greensboro and the United Way of Greater High Point. It is the sponsoring organization in Guilford County for a wide range of federal, state and locally funded programs which assist senior adults in maintaining their independence and continuing their involvement in community activities.

Senior Resources has offices in Greensboro and High Point and sponsors activities at locations throughout Guilford County.

Evergreens Lifestyle Center at Senior Resources of Guilford offers adults 55 and over a place to go for social activities, and a wide range of educational and creative programming. Evergreens Lifestyle Center receives federal and state, as well as United Way funding to provide our ongoing programs and allows us to be able to offer them to participants at free or at lower costs. We provide unique services to meet the needs of older adults, support their independence, and encourage involvement within the community. Through education and social interaction our seniors gain valuable knowledge and lifelong friendships. Our programs are designed to support the diverse population we serve and meet their unique cultural needs. Evergreens Lifestyle Center is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

How You Can Help

Senior Resources of Guilford is able to respond to critical needs in the community due to the caring support of individual donors, businesses, the faith community, civic organizations and foundations. Gifts from the community make it possible for the agency to bridge the gap between federal, state and local funding and the actual cost of providing essential services like Mobile Meals.

The agency is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization eligible to receive tax deductible donations. Financial information about Senior Resources of Guilford and a copy of our license are available from the State Solicitations and Licensing Branch at 1-888-830-4980. The license is not an endorsement by the State.

Inquiries about financial gifts to the agency can be directed to the Executive Director at 336-373-4816.
